The HEAL Lab attends ACES Aware in Action Conference
ACES Aware Grantee Conference: Innovations & Lessons Learned
Jasmine Cuellar, Paige Smith, and Dr. Sarah Haynes attended the ACES Aware Grantee Conference: Innovations & Lessons Learned representing the HEAL Lab on May 16, 2022 and May 17, 2022 in Long Beach, CA. The HEAL Lab attended this conference because it was a great opportunity to share what our team learned throughout this implementation grant and listen to what fellow grantees across the state of California learned throughout their grant periods. The HEAL Lab's implementation ACES grant consisted of creating a trauma-informed network of care in Yolo County with the following funded partners: CommuniCare Health Centers (CCHC), Winters Healthcare Foundation (WHF), First 5 Yolo (F5Y), Yolo County Children’s Alliance (YCCA), Resilient Yolo, Unite Us.
Dr. Haynes presented in a panel explaining how each funded clinical partner in the Yolo County Trauma-Informed Network of Care (TINOC) securely shared de-identified data with the UC Davis team through a privacy preserving record linkage system designed to securely link individuals using de-identified methods, Linkja. Dr. Haynes also shared how our UC Davis team within the TINOC plan to analyze the data shared and lessons learned about sustainability for the Yolo County TINOC.
